Howdy! This past unit we hopped on the tractor and headed to the Farm! We met some animals: Hershel the horse, Shelley the sheep, Chester the Chicken and Moo the cow (our friends helped name our cow). We learned all about how the farmers grow vegetables and so much more! It was a YEE HAW good time, Take a look and see!
We got started off with some science discovery! Sorting animals from wild to farm.

Collaborative art projects are so important for kids. They build community, foster cooperation, eliminate competition, and most importantly they are social and FUN!

Milking the Cow! This science activity mixed with dramatic play really made us feel like we were on the farm!

This week we welcomed our caterpillars! we were so excited to hold them and say hi! we can't wait to really discover them when we jump into our next unit on butterflies and bugs!
