This unit has been very exciting as we unlock so much more depth to our imagination and exploring such fun and informative activities.
Pajama Party: We enjoyed stories and ate snacks, we spoke about friendship and togetherness. We made the connection with animals that hibernate as we pretended to hibernate at school in our pajamas.
We celebrated TuBishvat by decorating our own almond tree. We used popcorn and dipped it into a mix of red and white paint creating the perfect shade of pink , to give the tree the detail of newly blossoming flower buds.
Hot and cold activity, the children had the chance to explore the sensory bins, one filled with warm water, frogs, flowers, with tongs and large spoons to scoop the frogs out. The second bin filled with cold icy water with snowflakes and tongs and large spoons inside to catch the snowflakes.
We also made play dough from scratch..
We made snowmen, and Penguins, and snow globes..
We made so many beautiful crafts to decorate our room, while the winter season started off slow, we were well ahead of the game and created our own snow, mittens, snowflakes and snowballs, we brought the winterlicious unit to life!
