Dear Parents,

Our ‘All About Me’ unit has been a fun and exciting time in Pre Nursery 2. We talked about our faces and how amazing it is to be able to see, hear, smell and taste. When the children made their face craft we talked about eye colour, hair colour and about all the foods we like to eat.

We learned about different textures and how we can feel soft and hard and rough and smooth. The children had the opportunity to play with shaving cream and corn starch.

We made fancy ‘mirrors’ for craft and loved singing our favourite song about me.

We had a great time during yoga and music class. It is always fun to learn more yoga moves and more fun songs.

We are working on learning colours in our class. The children have been playing fun colour games in our learning circle. They are becoming colour champions!!!

We are enjoying our time outside. We love playing with the parachute, balls and bubbles outside. Even though the weather is getting colder, we are still able to have a great time outside with our friends.

Donuts with dads was definitely a highlight this month. We appreciate the wonderful dads, abbas and zaidies who made time to join us for a very special morning in our class.

We are looking forward to our new Fall theme. We are sure this theme will bring more fun, excitement and learning to our class.
