Our Fall theme was full of fun and excitement in our classroom. We learned about Fall colours; red, green, orange, yellow, and brown. We enjoyed making a tree with Fall coloured button beads. This was a great activity to teach the children about Fall colours and a useful activity to practice fine motor skills and eye hand coordination.
We created beautiful trees with puff paint textured leaves. |

Pumpkin painting in a bag was so much fun and a great way to enjoy a messy craft without getting messy!!!
Pine cone painting was so much fun. For our science unit we experimented with pine cones and learned that when pine cones are wet they close up and when they are dry they spread apart. It was very exciting for the children to have the opportunity to investigate this and watch the pine cones close up as we put them in water and then let them dry and see how they open all over again.

Our Fall unit was fun and we learned so much about this season and about the world around us. We learned about the beautiful colours of the leaves and we learned about how smart the squirrels are by storing food for the winter. The children in Pre Nursery 2 are Fall experts!!!!!
More fun is on the way!!
