We had such a great week. We are so proud of our students who have made this week exciting, enjoyable and just plain awesome!!!! We love seeing their smiles, hearing their laughter and watching their curious faces as they have the opportunity to experience so many new things in our class.
The children had the opportunity to create beautiful honey dishes and decorate shofars. They are so excited to use their honey dishes on Rosh Hashana. In our circle time we learned about bees, honey, apples and Rosh Hashana. We were scientists as we cut open an apple and found a beautiful star and 9 apple seeds. We had the opportunity to hold and touch a real shofar and try blowing it as well.
The children are excited to dip apples in honey for a good and sweet new year.
