Last week concluded our final short weeks from Yom Tov. In the Pre- Nursery Class we've now begun our unit all about fall!
We have so many fun things planned for the next few weeks, Trees paintings, planting tulips, making soup and cinnamon play dough and so much more!
Here are a few pictures of all our fall fun!
We worked on our fine motor skills and math for our older kids counting the pine cones and gourds.
we made a beautiful classroom fall collage using many different sized and coloured leaves
For some of out older kids in the class we worked on letter recognition by finding the matching bean bags for our names!
We had so much fun painting trees, exploring our fall colours with our tape trees! they are on desplay in the front of school for all of you to see!
With some of our older friends we worked on writing letters in the sand
We made Veggietable soup! everyone helped scoop out the seeds and mash up the squash !
Some of our older friends took time to help
count all the seeds in the squash!
we read a wonderful book all about fall soup
With our real leaves we made trees and finger painted them to see the sensory of painting on the leaves
This week was all about fall weather every day we would take turns looking out the window to see what the weather was like that day, we even learned some new songs about the weather!
Mr. Sun, sun
Mr. golden sun please shine down on me
Is it raining?
is it cloudy?
snowy ?
or sunny?
what could it be? what could it be?
It was so nice to have our special guest Ariella's bubbie come in and help us plant Tulips!
We made fall playdough this week by using cinnomin so it would smell so good! everyone helped stir and mix and mush the playdough!
We always have so much fun outside doing lots of music and movement and this week we added in bubbles!
Have a great week!
Shabbat Shalom!
