Pre Nursery 2 Rainforest Blog

Hello Pre Nursery parents,

We have been very busy learning about the Rainforest in our class and it has been a fun and educational learning experience. We talked about the animals, climate and location of rainforests. The children had the opportunity to create beautiful frogs to add to our rainforest display.

We also made handprint monkeys.

Creating our classroom rainforest was a great experience for all of the children in our class. They cooperatively worked on this art project and each child contributed their own creative touch!

We learned the letter R for rainforest and decorated our letter R's.

We also learned letter gimel.

The children had the opportunity to make their own noisemaker shakers and we recreated the sounds of the rainforest in our classroom.  They were so amazed at all of the different sounds they could make.

We enjoyed learning about brushing our teeth and then having the opportunity to brush the monkey's teeth to make sure they were sparkling clean.

The children had such a great time learning about the rainforest in our classroom. We are excited to begin our new unit on community helpers.

Looking forward to more fun and excitement in Pre Nursery 2,

Morah Shelley and Morah Shani
