The Farmer in the Dell......

THE FARMER IN THE DELL:

The children had so much fun learning about the farm and all the animals. We ended the week with an exciting Shabbat party.
Noam and Zoey were the Aba and the Ima.

We learned the letter Tet for Tallit Katan- the  boys kissed Nates Tallit Katan- Tzitit and sang boys in the "Army of Hashem"

We decorated our letter Tet and used the Hebrew letters to make our names with the help of our Morahs.

We painted our big scarecrow and we added some birds and some hay. The children loved seeing it hanging up in the class.

How can we have a farm without Chickens? The children coloured the chickens, added feathers and then did the chicken dance! The children loved learning chickens and their importance on the farm. We matched letters to their matching eggs.

Planting seeds in the Sensory bins.

We wrote about the farm and the animals we see on the farm.

And we had an exciting visit from.... A very Hungary bunch of Caterpillars. We touched them, we held them and we learned all about the life cycle of a Caterpillar. It was very exciting!

Learning the letter Chet. The children decorated the letter Chet with "Challah" and  a "Chupah"

Animals are in the field and we played with our animals in green playdough.  The children built a barn and gate with a farm.
It was very exciting!

We painted a big cow for our barn and we played a farm game. The children first painted the cow and then they milked a big cow outside.  What a special treat!

We used shaving cream and made our own cuddly sheep.

SUCH A BIG MESS!

The weeks have just flown by and we can't believe the year is almost over! We have all grown so much!
